Medford Heating & Air Conditioning’s Response to COVID-19

COVID 19 - We are OPEN, Fully Staffed

We want to make sure that you are comfortable in your home. That has always been our goal, since 1959 when my father, Leon, opened this family business. We keep you warm in the winter. We keep you cool in the summer. But now we must also be certain to keep you safe in the pandemic.

What does this mean for Medford Heating and Air Conditioning? What does this mean for you? We are taking the necessary precautions as outlined by the CDC and government regulations. We ask that you do the same.

What is considered an essential business?

We are considered an “essential business” which means that we go to work day after day despite conditions. That being said, we did reduce our hours during the height of the pandemic. In order to ensure the safety over our staff and our customers, we drastically reduced and limited our services to coincide with regulations in place.

We are fully staffed and open full time again!

We are open again full time – meaning 8-5 Monday through Friday. As always, our emergency technicians are on call 24/7. Our technicians have personal protective equipment including gloves and masks, and disinfectant. They will disinfect before and after each customer’s service. Oil truck drivers are making deliveries as normal. No customer interaction is generally necessary.

Given that it’s springtime, it’s the perfect time to consider any system upgrades or tank upgrades that you need. Old air conditioners requiring R22 refrigerant will need to be upgraded soon. The R22 refrigerant is now officially obsolete. Tank upgrades are also available now. The new modern tanks come with 20-30 year warranties, are double walled, and are extremely safe. Whatever your needs, emergency or otherwise, we’re fully staffed and ready to help. Our technicians are also offering FREE ESTIMATES for the time being. So please, don’t hesitate to call!

Our office is open, but we would ask that all possible communication be by telephone, email, or mail to minimize any potential exposure to all concerned.  We would ask that anyone who has travelled out of the country or has any symptoms of illness in their home please call us to reschedule for a future date unless this is an emergency situation, in which case appropriate protocol will be followed.
